Public Hearing for proposed changes to the Dublin Ordinance, Thursday, February 1, 2018

In accordance with RSA 675:3 and 675:7, the Dublin Planning Board will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to the Dublin Zoning Ordinance at 7:15 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Dublin Town Hall. The proposed amendments include the following:

1.  Sign Ordinance

There are multiple changes to make the sign ordinance constitutional since the US Supreme Court has ruled that all sign regulations must be content neutral.  The proposal also includes changes to temporary portable signs for special events, their size and time they can be displayed before the event and to allow two off-site real estate signs and change the size of simple informational business signs (Open, Closed, Vacancy, Sale, Welcome).

2.  Wetland Ordinance

The proposed changes would allow raking and removing leaf litter in the wetland buffer zone and give the Planning Board authority to waive requirements for the wetland buffer zone, between 50 and 100 feet of the wetland.
